One Bali 'Bing', please ...

... no, there is no such drink available in Bali ... deng!!! But they have some better replacement for me ... hehe .... their most famous local beers ... Bali 'Bing'-tang ... as well as Bali Hai (eehh ... no comment on the name ... :P) Welcome to Bali ... it's not the lost, but last paradise in Indonesia ... (according to local la ... ). Besides their 'very-own-style' culture ... like giant sculpture almost can be seen at every roundabout ...  ... a lots of sophisticated yet mind-blowing statues and temples ...   ... highly creative woodcarving skill yet 'yellowish' art ... ... beautiful yet over-crowded beaches ... ... and how much they hate TERRORIST... ... i think, i was making right decision to choose Bali as my first destination out of 17,508 Indonesian islands ... Millionaire ...

... by the time this blog is scheduled to be blogged, i was already at 'somewhere' becoming a millionaire ... hehe ... ~yes, i am just a Rupiah millionaire~ Supposingly, i am doing spa or visiting some temples or eating some Bali local delicacy ... so, more updates will be uploaded soon ... the earliest, will be on Sunday :D ...   ~my very simple travel kit ... opps, forget to include a book and my 3G Sony Ericsson handphone-camera-mp3 ... :P~

Nine Emperors Parade ...

... when majority people around you start to eat non-meat meal, when you see 'tortoise' bun, when rain falls way too often ... you know, the Nine Emperors Festival is around the corner ... :D ... ... i myself is not a avid fan of Nine Emperors or a vegetarian ... but i was really thrilled when my mum told me that there will be Nine Emperors Parade this year in ipoh ... maybe because it will bring me back to my memory lane ... :D ... it was a sunny Sunday morning ... after breakfast with my parents at ipoh old town area, we walked to the closed street and manage to grab a nice spot ... ~it's already crowded with spectators~ ~the parade started with a 'bang' ... yes, it comes from that annoying gong~ ~some Nine Emperors devotees do some 'man-meat-chopboard' stunt ... even the policemen dare not kacau ... :P~ ~some Chingay giant flagpole head balancing act ... and these guys sikit pun tak gay ... :P~ ~even those vintage Volkwagen collectors took part~ ~... and they are really colourful ... ~ ~... some Mongolian custome make appearance too ... and i wonder why ... :P~ ~... Green Dragon dance ... ~ ~... Red Dragon dance ... and i try to wait for yellow, blue, black, white, purple ... but to no avail ... :P~ ~... special guests from our neighbouring country, Thailand ... Miss Pageant or Miss Ah Gua, i really don't know... :P~ ~... some say geli while some say it's a valour act to clean up one's sin ... this 'stuntmaster' kena cucuk live in front of us ... and it's a real spear ... geng ...~ ~... this cute brassband snear drummer really hot ... no, not that kind of hot ... it's really hot, imagine wearing uniform while carrying a few kilos on your shoulders ... kesian kesian ... her face so red liao ~ ~... they actually posing for some journalist to take photo, somehow, i manage to squeeze in .. :P~ ... some precious lesson i learned from this parade is ... always be a dragon dance group members ... because ....  NO UMBRELLA, NO PROBLEM ...

Red Bomb ...

... this year of 2008, so far, is my most fantastic and full of 'bomb'-astic events ... yes, those 'red bombs' are killing me softly almost every month ... and i believe, it will won't be ceased in many years to come ... let me do some counting ... first attack happened in May where i flew all the way to Tawau, Sabah to my 'daughter' wedding ... ya, Lilin always called me lou dau (although we are just one year apart ...) and that same week, i missed one of my closest Uni-mate's wedding in Ipoh ... sorry Ah Lai ... ~My daughter and her hubby~ ... then came in 2 more bombs on June with another Uni-mate, Tung Meng's wedding at Bagan Serai, Perak and my junior Unimate who i called him adik angkat (these are one of our USM culture to adopt some junior as your younger brother ... i admit, i am not a good tai lor ... :P) ~Tung Meng and his wife ... ~ ~My adik angkat and his cute wife~ ...then i gt invitation on Merdeka Day from Fei Xiang at Klang which i 'skipped' as well as another invitation from Yong Choo at Alor Setar ... no choice, have to ponteng once a while to catch some breath ... :P My ex-colleague, JH Beh too, threw me a surprise on Oct which happened i am not around ... so still able to sim ... haha ... ... but, you can run, you will never can hide ... :S During Raya holiday, one of my best buddies' sister denotated a bomb to me ... 'ka boom' ... yes, early next month ... i will be heading back ipoh ... ~JeeYen and her never-apart-hubby-to-be, Kelvin~ ... it's not the end of the story yet ... for there are 3 more wedding knocking at my door ... Kin Sek's wedding on Nov, Yit Yan & Soon Yang on Dec as well as Chee Sing's .... phew phew phew ... i understand why my si tao po keep asking me to watch '27 dresses' ... i think, i need to have more single, available and not desperate friends ... :P

Floorball tournament ...

... it's my first tournament ever since joining this new floorball game ... it was played last weekend at Dalat International School ... ~impressive sports facilities available in Dalat ... ~ ... i admit, although i am considered as an 'experience' sportsman, that morning, i have butterflies in my stomach ... phew ... ... you can't blamed me if you were there seeing this ... ~a huge crowd of spectators turnout ... ~ ~... warming up ... that's my helmet gear for GOALIE ...~ ~...yes, that's what i am ... like a guard ... JAGA PINTU GOL ... (eehh, that guy is not me ... :P) ~  p/s: my 'inexperience' team was heavily defeated ... 2-0, 6-0, 3-0 and 5-0 ... but still, i proud to have these young warriors battling with me ... looking forward to more from now on ... :D

If you can't sleep ...

... this is what i did last weekend ... :D at first, together with my housemate, San, we went for supper ... ~they are famous for Nasi Kandar ... but it's too late liao .... so ... ~ ~ ... maggie goreng plus a teh tarik kurang manis for me ... :D ~ Bt still, it's too 'early' to go home ... ~ yes, it is 'very early' ... 3:46am .... :P~ So, we go shopping ... grocery shopping to be precise ... it sound crazy, but there are people who is more crazier ...who do supermarket business 24hours ... it's not the conventional convenient shop like 7-11 or HappyMart ... it's a supermarket which sell everything your mum can think of ... welcome to SunShine Lip Sin .... :D ~the entrance is glowing in the dark ... yes, that's why they called themselves 'sunshine' ... :P~ ~it is in the basement ... like we are going to some illegal gambling den ... :P~ ~due to Bulan Ramadan, there is still customers around ... i wonder, what will happen during normal month ...~ ~we want to buy some veggie ... but ... it's like the workers there ... 'not very fresh' leh ... :P~

Italia with love ...

... although it's a cutely small gift ... really appreciate it especially, after she told me ... that she found it was really damn 'hard' finding such 'tiny' gift for me ... (hahahah ... :P) ... hope she is now having nice sleep again ... :D ~can you find the 'gift' ... :P ... unless, you are colour blind ... hehe~ ~it's a italy flag with its map on a ... i believe is a cap-decoration-pin ... :D~
